Pathak was hilarious at times, and Lara was often funny in subtle ways, but what didn't work for me was that Pathak was in this "funny and carefree" mode NONSTOP. There is not a single dialog until his wife's situation was revealed (and not fully even then) where he is not busy projecting his optimism or humor. Perhaps a minor flaw that most people won't notice. Otherwise, a great road movie for sure. As the world's biggest travel addict, I loved the scenes along the road and in the small towns. The scenes where Lara is admiring the jewelry of the rural women or riding a camel cart or waking up from a roadside charpoy and getting a daatun to brush her teeth are far more intriguing than seeing the more stereotypical Rajasthan scenes in other movies.
